Indications:
Clindamycin 1% topical solution is indicated in the treatment of acne vulgaris.
Dosage and Administration:
Usually you should use this medicine twice a day, wash the affected area before use and dry
it.
Contraindications:
Clindamycin 1% topical solution is contraindicated if you are hypersensitive to clindamycin,
isopropyl alcohol and propylene glycol. This topical solution is contraindicated in individuals
with a history of regional enteritis or ulcerative colitis, or a history of antibiotic-associated
colitis.
Adverse Reactions:
The possible side effects of clindamycin topical solution are skin irritation (may cause
symptoms such as burning, itching, peeling), urticaria, contact dermatitis, skin dryness and
skin oiliness. Gastrointestinal disturbances have been rarely reported.
